    Mic isn’t working for Series X, Help


    I been trying to fix an issue with my mic, it won’t work at all but I can hear myself in the mic monitoring but when I go into a party, there’s no output but I can still hear myself on the mic monitoring, if this helps the headset is Jbl quantum 100

    Compatible mic for Xbox series X

    Thx for ur response, but standard USB mics for Xbox one, PS4 or nintendo switch dont work on Xbox series x. I tested them...

    The only thing works fine is headphones + mic. But si not a good solution for me and karaoke games.

    It would be nice that Microsoft sold official microphones that work with Xbox series x.

    Since you work for Microsoft is there a chance you could possibly see if my account was muted ? I don’t have any outstanding enforcement issues or anything but my buddy said he got his account muted my Microsoft one time on accident and they didn’t know.

    Also, if you are not able to see an enforcement action in your account history. This means that you're not banned and if that was the case, you shouldn't be able to use the Xbox mobile app to join parties

    You can try to isolate the problem even more testing your account on a different console

    If you already tried the offline update the next step in this case is report the problem to the Xbox team with advanced diagnostics to see what's going on
