Mic is broadcasting to Party Chat and Game Chat simultaneously | Series X

The reason that it happens in Back 4 Blood is that I believe the game was designed like that, the developers want people to be using the "in game chat" and not "party chat" they actually want people to play the game as a team and not random people who don't communicate to each other.

There is a work around though (of sorts), in the Back 4 Blood sounds options I found an option that mutes in game chat, it doesn't help if you are in a team with two random people as you should all be working together, but it works for my group and we no longer get in game chat echoing seconds after the party chat.

Party chat should work fine whilst broadcasting. The broadcast will only pick up your mic from the party though.

In a PvZ lobby, though, it may show the mic icons but it does not necessarily mean they are actually broadcasting any sound. I think it even showed the icon for me when I was in party chat rather than game chat.

Try getting into party chat and testing it out.

Hashbrown, I have the same setup with my xbox series X, do you have any issues with party chat and game volumes or echoing in the party chat? Do you have any idea if I can alter audio settings for the mic through my computer?

Xbox Clips feature are just record video/audio from current game, without your party voice chat. If you need to record video with party chat you can try to start broadcasting with Twitch (dont forget to record party chat in your broadcast settings), and
then create clips from your past broadcast.
