mic echoing problem in party chat (XBOX ONE S)

Does anyone have tips or tricks on fixing the mic echo? All other audio is fine. I can hear my friends in the party chat but my mic echos whenever I speak. When I say something they hear the echo not when I say it originally say it. Also the echo comes
in about 2-3 seconds late. It sucks because while gaming they receive my callouts late. I've tried resetting the console, unplugging the the mic, adjusting the audio, adjusting the audio settings, and switching controllers. Can anyone help?

it depends who is hearing the echo.

if you are hearing an echo then it is most likely that someone else in your party has their mic gain too high and has party chat through their TV or too loud in their headphones. check whose name shows when you hear the echo.

they would need to turn down party chat volume and/or change their mic sensitivity

your headset or mic volue might be too high or the cord of your headset might be demeged

Click on your gamertag pic, scroll down to audio, the second bar under where you have the option to hear either the game or people more or less. Turn that down to hear the game more instead of people, then the option to hear your voice talk. Turn that
down as well. It should stop the ech .

Thank you for responding but whenever I'm in a party they do not echo. It probably is the network but I'll keep messing with the audio.
