    Mic crackling in new controller


    my xbox one headset crackles and pops whenever someone talks or I navigate the home screen, I didnt have this problem with my old controller, I use a stereo headset adapter so is this a problem with the auxiliary port in the new controller??

    Xbox One Stereo Headset Mic is producing Static or Doesn't hear anything at all

    It seems that I keep getting told that my mic is producing static noise/ Crackling noises or sometimes my mic doesn't hear me. Please help if you know of fix./

    I have tired various fixes:

    Hello, I just acquired a new elite controller and when I plug a headset on, my microphone is crackling. While with my old elite controller, there is no crackling.

    Just got the XO seven. I've tried using other headsets with the adapter and it doesn't matter - crackling and popping. Restarting the controller fixes this for a minute or two, but it eventually starts crackling again. VERY frustrating.

    what controller you using wired or wireless? if it works on the other controller use it, the new controller you got take it back and get a new one and say to them its not working for the mic. so if that helps you out buddy, or see if any stuff is in controller
