    Mic audio is horrible recently


    A lot of my friends all of a sudden sound like the super chronos 64 skin on smite. Idk how the bug was created but the mic quality sounds worse than that if PS4 currently. Please fix, it’s giving me headaches to talk to most of my friends, but not all are
    affected.

    Mic is horrible

    You yourself said you have been using it for years apparently very successfully. Unfortunately, these things do break from time to time and that may be what has happened to yours. Do you have a friend's xbox that you could try it on to make sure it is
    the mic and not something else?

    Hi I'm sorry to hear your mic is not working try giving these troubleshooting steps a chance and if it does not work at the bottom it says you can order a replacement.

    Should a Headset be in w/ every Xbox One ?

    I want everyone to goto your setting on your 360 and set voice to play through speakers. Now go online and listen to what a jumbled mess it is when you have game audio and chat audio coming from the same output.

    This doesn't work, especially not for serious online gamers. Its horrible. Maybe the Kinect Mic is great but that still will NOT help you understand what your teammates say when you have both audio sources going at once.

    Headset gaming, have you really tried it?

    To me the biggest thing preventing more people from enjoying headset gaming is the absolutely horrible audio quality of most gaming headsets. The best gaming headset is just a good pair of headphones and a good mic. To me the two exceptions to this are
    the Sennheiser PC37x (with 3.5mm cable for console gaming) and the Plantronics Rig range. The majority of headsets “made for gaming” are either overpriced or below par for quality in similarly priced audio gear.
