    Why is my headset always muted? I've tried everything talked about in forums and videos and nothing works.
    I can not chat with my friends during games. I see that this issue is old and it seems that Microsoft can not solve it.
    I'm tired of this problem. Is there any hope for all of us?

    G'day,

    Try using a headset adapter to bypass the 3.5mm plug and do a Firmware update from

    Settings>Kinect+Devices>Devices+Accessories below Configue click ...(3 dots) and update firmware even if it says it's up to date.

    Are you using a chat pad or is the 3.5 jack going directly in the controller?
