    MGS 2 HD is keep freezing on my Xbox Series X


    I have been playing MGS HD collection(DISC version) for about a year now and haven't gotten any problem until yesterday.

    MGS 2 now starts to freeze/crash randomly whenever I try to enter a new area or save the game. I have experienced this crash more than 3 times since yesterday so I'm pretty sure it's not just my xbox's mere hiccup that could occur seldomly.

    I don't know whether it's the hardware's problem, game itself, or the backward compatibilty software.

    Is there anyone experiencing the same problem? and I will greatly appreciate any suggestion to fix.

    Last time i played any of the HD classic originals, was on a SD television... it does make a difference. Before popping in the MGS HD Collection, I replayed MGS: The Twin Snakes remake on the GCN on my HD TV.--awful. I love the game and series... and TTS
    is one of the best remakes ever, but the experience was just terrible on an HD television.

    Atm its an ongoing issuse, i find it happening most with AC:Val and COD:CW. It happens also with Rouge Company and MK11Ultimate.

    Well this is sure constructive to facilitate a conversation.

    OP, I bought both through games on demand. The difference is exactly as you stated. The games are sold as a HD collection at retail (includes MGS 2,3,PW), and it is indeed in english. The GOD version are seperated into seperate titles for whatever reason. You
    must pay seperately for them, and they are also in english (pending you buy them on the us marketplace). They are also available in French and Spanish, but make sure you are in that correct locale before buying them to be sure. Here are the links:
