mGPU Vertical Sync malfunction

Discus and support mGPU Vertical Sync malfunction in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I have a 6850K processor with 2 Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti's.     mGPU Vertical Sync malfunction


    I have a 6850K processor with 2 Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti's. I'm often unable to load the game as it freezes at the loading screen after the intro videos. When it does load, if I turn on V-sync, there are horrifying visual artifacts. Without it enabled screen tearing
    is unbearable. Please advise on possible solutions.

    Xbox 360 performance question?

    Screen Tearing isn't a forced feature to accommodate anything. It's an artefact of poor vertical sync of successive video frames. Forced vertical sync is often ignored, because it is GPU-intensive and can cause frame rate drops.

    My 250GB Slim keeps turning itself off every 5 - 10 minutes.

    Quoting FondestGorgon49, this problem shouldnt be present in either way you r console is vertical or in horizontal position, the console needs to be checked out nevertheless.

    Probably there's a malfunction with the position sensor built within the console.

    One x on a vertical stand? Ment the manual say against it?

    I've considered getting a vertical stand, but from my understanding... it is not recommended to use discs and/or disc tray while the console is in a vertical position. I've read countless reviews stating this, claiming disc tray malfunctions, a "grinding"
    sound while disc loading, causing damage to discs etc.

    However, Microsoft includes this vertical stand with various console bundles and also has it available to be purchased separately. Which makes me question if the above mentioned "reviews" are legitimate....

    Anyone here currently using the vertical stand(OneS or OneX) and discs as well, what has your experience been?

    If they were reviewing the Original Xbox One, then yes there were issues and grinding and disc wear etc. The S and X were designed to be able to be stood vertically. If it wasn't, they wouldn't have put a stand in the Scorpio edition. Which I have but never
    used it.
