We understand that the issue here consists of completing a pre-order for the Metro Saga through your Xbox One X console.

Pre-orders done through the Microsoft store do not charge automatically when checking an item out. Meaning in this case, the situation that is being experienced is more than likely related to the game recently attempting to charge, to which there were not
funds to cover the cost of the order.

Confirm the purchase history within the Microsoft order history, only to confirm that there was an attempt
on a date different than when you first attempted.

The preorder was completed through the microsoft store online about a month ago. I have a receipt from Paypal from 3 days ago with a successful charge. Money was taken out of my bank account. Now all of that was reversed and my order canceled. I am very
disappointed that this ordere was canceled for no apparent reason. I have waited for a long time to make the jump to the x box x with a great deal and price. Now I am bit concerned because of this. Not wanting to honor the discount?

Are you on an Xbox One X, by chance? There were some known issues in Metro Exodus with crashing and freezing on the Xbox One X, sadly. Hopefully these issues will be getting patched very soon.
