Metro Exodus Gamma Issue

I'm playing Metro Exodus and at nighttime (in the game) i cant see anything unless I bring the Gamma video setting to the max. Even then it still isn't too good and the brightness/gamma quality in the game looks very wrong and uncomfortable to the point
where it gives me a headache playing with higher gamma than neutral.

The in-game gamma correction setting says to "adjust the slider so that the left-most image is barely visible", however, even at the highest gamma setting and my television itself on higher brightness settings I can never see the left-most logo image at
all. Not even barely.

I searched the issue online and immediately found Reddit posts with other complaining of the same gamma issue for both Metro Exodus and Crackdown 3.

I've heard there is a patch coming for this. Not sure when. Probably soon since its a common issue

I have the same issue, what Ive been doing is setting the gamma at 50% and turning up the brightness levels of my TV. Also there has been issues with the game freezing at random sequences. Im sure with time a new update might resolve these issues, we will
just have to wait for now.

Hi ive been having the same problem, also seeing some weird textures im sure we can expect a update in the next week

Yeah I've encoutnered the same issue. This is a confirmed issue with the game that the developers know about and trying to fix. I believe the next update is meant to fix the issue. Hopefully that happens. Apologies for the issue.
