Messed up code for gift card

Unfortunately codes aren't reissued usually. The retailer has no way of knowing whether it was used or even that you purchased one I'd you don't have the receipt.

Hello LyzzaVirus, If you bought a card that you bought as a subscription or a Gift card that was damaged when you scratched it, you must contact Xbox Support via chat so that they can help you.

NOTE: You will need the purchase invoice for your gift card.

Go to: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us/

See the bottom left part of the page and make sure that the page has the correct region that you are in (ex: United States - English for USA)

If not, click on it then select the correct region that you are in.

Check and confirm that you are within the available time of support under Contact times.

Click Contact us

Select the drop-down menu options that will match your concern.

On the page, see the provided support articles that may help you with your concern. Click See contact options if further assistance is needed.

On the next page, select either Chat online or Request a call option then follow or enter the needed details.

If you haven't already, I would recommend taking a look at the article that covers how to

Additionally, if this does not work you can always try to request a new digital code by using the

Xbox Digital Code Solution wizard, however, this requires that you provide as much info as possible so provide all this info can prove tedious to some.

Was it a xbox gift card or a microsoft gift card. I messed this up once and added a microsoft gift card.
