    Messaging


    Can i get messages on my tablet that my gamer friends send me on my xbox 360 during game play? So not to interrupt the game, can messages be sent to and received from my xbox live to my tablet. Example. I have a newer player that i friended that texts
    a lt of questions. But were in the game. Can my girl get them for me thru my xbox live acct on her tablet and correspond that way?

    I'm just glad no one can actually see me LIVE playing through the kinect. That would suck.

    That would be pretty cool, even if it was limited to 10 or 15 seconds. But i know they probably they won't do it because a) it would be use too much and they would have a huge kick on their servers b) use it to send stuff that players shouldn't.

    Yes, you should be able to get Xbox messages in the Xbox app on your tablet, as long as you are signed in on your account.

    Download the xbox app from the app store and sign into your account, from there youll be able to view your xbox live messages.

    Soi have to download app? No way to get it thru xbox online tnru browser? I found whete it shows my messages sent but not ones i receive

    Yes, you can view your messages on the website in your browser, but you may have to refresh the page each time you wanna see new messages.

    You can get your messages through your browser if you go to Xbox | Games and Entertainment on All Your Devices and sign in with your account.

    Then click on your account picture, and go to Messages.

    There you can then read and write messages that you receive via Xbox Live.

    Yes you can get your messages from your browser. You got to
    www.xbox.com     click on your profile pic. Bacon is right though you would have to refresh your screen every couple of seconds to see if a message pops up. If you download the app from the play store, it will work just like your Xbox home screen and it will
    just pop up on its own.
    Here's a little info on the Xbox app.

    I've been experiencing this same issue for a month or so now. It makes sending messages 4x longer than it normally does and than it should. I absolutely hate sending messages on the Xbox One now because of this. I haven't tried the hard reset yet, so I'll
    try that out and see if that helps. Hopefully it does. It shouldn't be something that happens. Makes the system feel sluggish, when it should be a smooth experience.
