messages on PC not sending to xbox + mnot being able to add people

Yes, there should be a split in the options between voices messages and text messages on Xbox One. I like being able to send and receive text messages between all people, but don’t like getting voice messages from angry kids. I should be able to have the
ability to send text messages to all, but not be able to send or receive voice messages or at least only to friends.

Thanks for reply. I'm sorry to hear about the issue with not being able to send messages. Unfortunately, sounds like you need to update your Microsoft Account or verify your Microsoft Account. The only way to bypass this is to fill out the appropriate information
necessary to confirm your account.

By chance, Are you creating an New Microsoft Account? Or Is this an Existing Account?

Have you tried to uninstall/re-install the Xbox App?



Here are steps below on how to uninstall and reinstall Xbox app:



1. Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.

3. Type the following command to uninstall Xbox app: Get-AppxPackage
*xboxapp*| Remove-AppxPackage



4. Hit Enter.



Launch Windows Store and download Xbox App.
