    Messages broken


    I've spoken numerous times with Xbox Support and folks on reddit about this problem and there seems to be no solution. Like others have posted here, I tried to use the messages tab on the app (or on the xbox.com site) and the app just hangs and crashes.

    I have tried a ton of interventions, including:

    - Logged in and out

    - Deleted and reinstalled

    - Hard rebooted

    - Restored my iPhone to factory condition

    - Tried the website on Chrome, Safari, and Firefox

    - Updated my account security settings, including ensuring the correct phone number is in settings

    - Contacted Xbox support multiple times

    This is on both an iPhone 7+ and iPad Air 2, both running iOS 10.2.

    Please help me with this, there must be an issue or error on the server side, I can't do anything more to fix it from my end. It has been like this for weeks. Xbox support says teams are aware and working on it, but can I at least get an ETA for a fix,
    or an explanation of the problem?

    How we, the gamers should respond to all these games being released broken:

    How do you know a game is broken before it releases? Suppose you pre-order a game and get it day one....you won't know it's broken until after you purchased the game. Thus, you supported a game that was broken, and it sends the wrong message to publishers.

    Hey there C4US x Girl69!

    Sorry to hear about the messaging issue, I can definitely understand how frustrating that could be. I recommend first, checking to see if there is a service alert on our Service Status page
    that may be causing the issue. If there is no service alert, you can start by Clearing your Xbox 360 system cache 3 times. After you cache is cleared, Power
    cycle     your Xbox 360 console.

    It only takes one valid report for someone to get suspended,not three.

    That report is then looked at by a person,not a program or a bot.

    A communication suspension is just that,you are suspended from all communication over xbox live.Wouldn't be much of a punishment if you were only suspended from talking to one person would it?

    All the info you need to prevent being suspended again has already been posted so nothing more to add.

    If you think someone has violated the Code of Conduct just report that person or block him. Retaliating violates the Code of Conduct and is subject to enforcement acts.
