    Messages Aren't Working Correctly


    Dear Microsoft,

    My messages aren't working correctly. I can receive messages but can't send them. Other have commented on this topic before and asked how to fix it. I ask that you find a way so this won't be a problem anymore.

    Xbox one messages and party invites aren't working correctly. HELP

    my Xbox one isn't receiving party or game invites anymore and I'm very irritated. There was an error code about a month ago that I looked up and said to wipe your profile and restart and stuff, but that error code was about the 360, I'm using a One. So I
    just hoped that it would fix itself and disappear, which it did, disappear I mean. But after that up till now, messages/party/game invites haven't been popping up anymore. I have to manually go to the messages tab and see if I have any messages, and party/game
    invites my Xbox doesn't receive at all.

    How can I fix this? I've already been into the settings and fiddled around with the notification settings and nothing changed.

    Guests aren't signing in correctly

    Recently when I have tried to add a guest to play along online with it has been doing this strange thing where it will sign in (4) instead of (1). This causes issues due to the 2 guest limit that will not allow guest 4 to play online.

    Has anyone seen this issue before? Help would be much appreciated.

    Hi, sorry to hear that's happening. I'd recommend trying the following:

    -Try the instructions in this helpful video:

    -Try the troubleshooting steps in the following guide (some are the same as in the video above): Why Can’t I Send Messages from Xbox One or Xbox App?

    Wow, did it in like, 10 seconds! sadly, however, it seems the problems still persist upon immediate look. I'll restart my Xbox to see if there's a difference.

    Edit: I'm actually surprised that worked so easily. Thank you!

    One last thing, should I leave the question or delete it?

    Remove notifications

    I thikn the messages aren't deleting from the message section just the notification. I went into my actual messages under profile and was able to delete the correctly. Def some bugs to work out with this UI.
