I have tried sending a message to each one of my friends and it said “messaging isn’t working for your account” and also told me to go to
Why Can’t I Send Messages from Xbox One or Xbox App?

So I have went to the process and still didn’t work so I have ask my friends on chat on mic and said I might’ve got banned? So I went to enforcement to check my status and it’s said that I’m a good player and didn’t get banned.

Please help me with this awful

On your Xbox One console, if you go to Settings>Account>Privacy & online safety>Xbox Live privacy>View details & customize>Communication & multiplayer, do you have "Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites" toggled on
to either "Everybody" or "Friends"?

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We need a little more information to ensure we provide the correct solution. Are you attempting to send a message through the console or the Xbox app for mobile devices? Did you receive a link to add the number and
send the code through your Xbox message center or email address of the Microsoft account? If the console is an Xbox One, we recommend

completing a power cycle by holding down the power button on the console for ten seconds. Once the console has been power cycled, we recommend attempting to send a message. Be sure to let us know the results!

Please make sure that your account is verified. You can do this by logging into your Microsoft account and checking for any prompts. And it is also best to have an updated security information on your account by going to https://account.microsoft.com>; Security> Advanced Security Options.

And then double-check your privacy settings to ensure messaging is enabled. To do this, go to the Xbox app and navigate to "Privacy & Online Safety," and make sure communication options are set to allow.

On your Xbox app or console, kindly remove your account and then add it back because this can refresh your account settings and resolve any glitches.

If you're using the Xbox app, please clear its cache or resetting it. On your phone, you can do this in the app settings.

Update your Privacy settings on your account. You can restrict search and contact settings to allow only friends to send messages or share videos, and to only let others find your channel on YouTube if they have your email address. Of course, if you are
trying to increase viewership you won’t want to do this, and it won’t block friend requests, but it will prevent other spam messages being sent through YouTube.
