Message expired with fallout 3 code

Back in November I downloaded Fallout 4 for xbox one and a message was sent to me with a code for fallout 3. However at that time there wasn't enough memory to download Fallout 3, now that I have an external hard drive I have discovered the messages expire
after 30 days. Is there any way to recover this old message or send a new code?

I'm not sure of the exact purchase date, I believe it was a week or two before Thanksgiving but the purchase was made under the gamertag
