Message expired then promotion code lost.

My day one console came with two 3 month Gold membership redeem code. They were sent to me last November with a message. I redeem one, and for I played Halo I also get 1 month expansion. Now the Gold will be expired on March. I went back to that promotion
message to look up the other 3 month code that I left there not redeemed. The message was deleted! I read all post here about message expire, and contacted the US support live chat for this one, for getting a new code send to me. As you may expect, I got
refused.

BUT my reason for made this request was concrete I think: This "message will expire after 30 days" rule WAS NOT DISPLAYED ON THE CONSOLE SO I WASN"T BEEN INFORMED ABOUT THIS RULE. This made me to believe that I could redeem the other code
later. In fact today is the first time I know a message will expire, from the computer version of message, there was a warning under every message piece.

So I think I have the right to reclaim that code. I can prove from my console SN (I think this is what that promotion code came to find me in the past) , activation date, redeem history, day one achievement to sustain my eligibility. The console was a Japanese
day one edition, so the promotion maybe a Japanese special offer.

Any one knows how could I get the code again? I know that the message was gone.

The message expired because originally I was having an issue redeeming the code, which I can't remember now.

I think the point is that YOU CANNOT LEARN FROM THE CONSOLE THIS RULE. And yet Microsoft enforce it without communicate. Messages were user generated content that should be handled with sensitive.
