    Hi guys I am trying to change my gamertag but it says my gamertag is taken... the gamertag is taken by me on my 2nd email account, is there anyway I can claim my gamertag back off my other account?

    Merging two accounts... can I do it?

    Hey all,

    I somehow created two xbox live accounts and it was an error on my part. I don't want to have my downloaded content on a separate account from my main account. Is there any way that I can merge the two accounts? They both have similar names etc for a start!

    Merging old xbox live account with new Microsoft account

    I recently created a new Microsoft account with my new laptop, using my main e-mail address. My old xbox live account I've had for over 10 years (since I was an immature teen) has mostly made up info with silly names and password has all my xbox points
    and achievements and gaming related stuff on it. Any way I can merge the accounts so I can use my main e-mail address instead of signing into 2 different accounts? I'd rather not use my gaming e-mail account anymore, nor would I want to swap accounts back
    and forth.

    If I delete my other account will it definitely free up the gamertag? how long until it will be free after account deletion?

    main alias for the account     but there is no way to "free up" a Gamertag.

    You can free up the gamertag if you change it to something else. It will require payment though.

    However a dummy account was created on the one first by support, this is linked

    So no subscriptions show up on it, I cannot therefor play cloud games

    How are you. You can't MERGE Xbox Live accounts, however you can have a main Account for yourself and other accounts that you have. Either you can make your main account that you have all your games and friends on the main or you can create a new one and
    start fresh. Everything is saved on one main Xbox LIVE account.
