Merge Academy will not open - orange status bar on bottom fills to 100% and never opens

Have you checked if there is an Update on the Microsoft Store for the game bar?

Also you could try restarting the Xbox Game Bar App. Please try the following steps,

• Right Click on the Task bar
• Task Manager
• Find Xbox Game Bar
• Right Click and End Task,
• Open up the Start Menu
• Find and Open Xbox Game Bar near the bottom

Thanks for reaching out to the forums! Before we recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the game bar. Have you cleared all keyboard shortcuts from the Game Bar app already? To access the shortcut list, open the Start Menu and open Game Bar> then settings> then "Shortcuts". If you have anything in the "Open Game Bar" box other that Windows +G go ahead and either change it to your desired shortcut or scroll to the bottom and click "Reset if you prefer the default settings.
