    Hi there,

    you can change your default storage device so that games etc will by default be stored on the specified device (which can be your external drive)

    I don't know the exact location but if I recall correctly it's somewhere located at:
    System > Settings > System > Storage.

    You should be able to select/specify the default storage device.

    [/quote]He wants the saves on the USB while he gets a new consoles. In that case he would move the saves from his hard drive and not copy them, I've yet to encounter a save in the games I've played that an not be moved.

    Even if that were the case for a title there is a way in the dashboard around that. You can transfer the saves to USB by using the transfer software in the dashboard in the same way as you would do so between hard drives.

    Use it for back up. So you have a copy on both cloud and your system. That's how I use it on PS+

    If you are using IE8/9 turn compatibility view settings on OP.

    It will stop your posts from showing as blank.

    If you buy a flash drive at a retail outlet then it will be USB 2.0. Just be aware that the console will only read up to 16gb so if you buy a larger drive than that the rest of the space would be wasted.
