Xbox Live Rewards - NOT for me

I've been a member of XBox Live Rewards since 8/8/2015. I've bought many things from Xbox Live and I NEVER received a single credit, only from the 1st research.

    Hello zonetroper412,

You are registered as a US Rewards member. This mean we can only Reward purchases made with that region's currency (USD). Since your purchases have been made with a different regional currency, they are not eligible for Rewards. Furthermore, your spending
from a different region has caused your deposits to fail since your Rewards Account region does not match your Microsoft Account region.

In order to resolve this issue, you have two options. You need to either adjust your Microsoft Account to match your Rewards Account, or create a new Rewards Account to match your new Microsoft Account region.

    1) You can adjust your Microsoft Account region to match your Rewards region from your commerce page at (https://commerce.microsoft.com). This
will cause your regions to match and allow your currency to be deposited.

    2) The second option of Creating a brand new account has some pros and cons. The benefit of creating a new Rewards Account is that your new account will be set to track and Reward purchases made in your Microsoft Account's regional currency. The drawback
is that you will lose the previous progress you have made on your account, as you will be creating a brand new Rewards Account. While we will be able to transfer any pending (un-deposited) Credits from your old Rewards Account, we will not be able to transfer
    any other progress.

If you wish to continue with Rewards in your current Microsoft Account region and create a new account, you must first close your current account by opting out of the program at (https://rewards.xbox.com/optout/).
You will have to wait 48 hours for us to receive and process your request, after which your account should show up as completely clean of progress and have a join by date of "???". At that point, you can create a new Rewards Account by signing back up again,
which can also take 48 hours. To confirm that you have re-registered correctly, you can check your join date from the MyRewards page at (Xbox Live Rewards).
If you check your MyDashboard at (Xbox Live Rewards), you will be able to see if you are still in the registration process. If
you open a new post after being able to log in to your new Rewards account, you can request any pending deposits from your old account to your new one.

    I want out but I can't leave

    Hello Specter2470,

We see that you are no longer a Rewards member, and have not been a Rewards member since February 17th, 2016.

I have been a rewards member since 2014 but I have never received anything?

    Hello MikeGriffin9501,

You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

    1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/ .

    -or-

    2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
back as payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a result, payback based off Gamerscore (MyAchievements) was discontinued. Also, as of July 2014, we do not award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals. In September 2015, we made some refinements to the
program. One change that happened was an adjustment of MyVIP purchase thresholds. If you did not reach any MyVIP ranks with your purchases from September 2014-August 31st 2015, you were placed at a default rank. Since you were a zero star member, you did not
get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (https://rewards.xbox.com/myrewards/).

Since you only recently hit your first star, you can start to expect payback for your purchases. MyVIP payback is calculated as a monthly whole and awarded halfway through the following month.

been a member since 2015. No earned rewards.

For help with the rewards program, it's best to post in the Xbox Rewards Questions support forum. Keep in mind that in order to receive credits, your purchases either have to be eligible for a specific offer on the site at the time, or you need at least
1 star level in order to receive VIP rebates.

As of July 1, 2014, there are no offers to receive credits for renewing gold. Achievements will only award credits if they are part of a specific offer on the site.

Xbox One achievement problems prevent games from being completed

but that said you have to keep up with where your rewards are, I got a message from Microsoft via the message system telling me I had to use my reward points before 6 January 2015 they sent the message on the 28th February 2015.
