    Hello!

    Most likely they use wireless that connects without a password, but requires that you log into a website on the device prior to using the internet. If that's the case, you wouldn't be able to use their wifi on your Xbox.

    ability to just connect Ethernet to xbox and laptop and stream that way should be a thing, I play on my college campus and don't have a tv so I use my laptop. does this work? OR is there any way to get this to work?

    Many college wifi use enterprise level security to connect to their wifi. Xbox does not support this protocols. Check with you Schools I.T. support to see if they support gaming consoles on their student networks.

    I’ve tried that several times and I’m also on a college campus so I can switch networks and have tried that and there’s still a teredo problem. Thanks for the advice though :)

    In such situation, without college IT guys, You can't fix this issue, only them can do such operations on their equipment. So short answer no, without them no hope.
