Discus and support media player error code 0xc00d11cd 0x80070001 in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Recently I have been unable to play any media I have added to a portable hdd I use.     Recently I have been unable to play any media I have added to a portable hdd I use. Every time I do I receive the same error code, it's all legally downloaded (rifftrax if it matters) and there is no drm on the files by default.

    Problem using large external hard drive to play video files via Media Player app

    Update: The actual error I get is,

    "Can't play. Please try again. If the problem continues, visit [...]

    The same thing is happening to me I don't know why it's never done it before

    I have just noticed this too. This error is happening to files that the Xbox already played via the minidlna server, however, when transferred to external HD they will no longer play. My external drive is a WD 4gig. I am a little over 1/2 full with1.7
    gig available. All files getting this error on the Xbox all play perfectly on the laptop.

    If only Linux would create a game system!! media player error code 0xc00d11cd 0x80070001 ;)

    If anyone finds a solution, please let me know. Might try to see if the Xbox 360 will play them. hmmmmm.

    I couldn't Edit the original so.... It's a 4 TB, not gig!!! with 1.7 TB available.
