ME2: Paramour achievement but still consumate with Liara?

    ME2: Paramour achievement but still consumate with Liara?


    Long story, short, I want to ensure I get the full romance path with Liara in ME2 (via the DLC) after choosing her as my partner in ME1.

    The trouble is that I also like to gain achievements and the Paramour achievement is not available unless "cheat" on Liara. However, from what I have read, Liara will not consumate if I cheated, is that correct?

    In all honesty, I would prefer not to have to redo the game with a diff char just to get this cheev.

    Am I simply ship out of luck or is it possible to "have my cake and eat it too"?

    At some point, I believe it was after I did all the Tuchanka missions... there was an email from her. Something about her hanging out in the Purgatory Bar in the Citadel. I got the achievement for 'Paramour' but there was no erotic scene.

    Ashley Williams Romance Question

    Ashley is only a romance option if she rejoins the crew because the trigger for the paramour achievement happens after that.

    Also I believe you have to have romanced her in Mass Effect 1.

    ME2: Paramour achievement but still consumate with Liara?

    In ME2; if you're doing the Shadow Broker stuff, yeah, if you're seeing someone else she'll back off & since she's not part of your crew she doesn't count for the achievement.

    However, if you're dead-set against redoing a game you could either: rush through the game; romancing whomever it is in 2 that takes your fancy; get the achievement... and then reload the game prior to taking up the romance, leaving you to chase Liara,
    guilt-free. (I've made similar moves when I wanted to see the outcomes of different strategies during the end levels)

    Or you could just do all of Liara's stuff ASAP, and once it's done, pursue a romance after you've sent Liara on her merry way. Though you may have to grovel in part 3 if/when she confronts you about that...

    Also, I lost my ME1 saves, but the only real tragedy (in my eyes) of it is not saving Wrex. Therefore:

    ME2 assumes you 'romanced nobody' in ME1 if you don't import a save.

    ME2 doesn't give you a Liara romance option.



    My male Shepard still had the option to romance Liara (and in fact, did) in ME3.

    well......i kinda cheated on Liara,but only because she was too busy getting infos of shadow brokers(ME2),and also because Miranda put 2 years into me so gotta love her(romanced Miranda ME2 & ME3).i had a long pause before telling Liara that "let's just

    Correct me if im wrong but I believe the only romantic option for male Shepard is Liara unless you have an imported game from 1 and 2. You can fool around with the news gal but I dont think you can have a romantic relationship with her.

    Male Shepard relations in 3

    Liara = import from ME1 and/or ME2

    Ashley = import from ME1

    Tali = import from ME2

    Miranda = import from ME2

    Jack = import from ME2
