    ME2 & ME3 DLC Sale, But Can't Purchase Either Game....


    Much of the DLC for ME 2 & ME3 are on sale starting today, but you still can purchase the games as digital downloads. This is despite the fact that you can download them if you have EA Access, so we know that digital downloads of these games exist and work
    properly.

    This is absolutely unacceptable. I have zero interest in paying for game subscriptions beyond my Xbox Live subscription. I like to buy my games, and I'd really like to buy these games. I don't want discs, as I have done away with those over the last 6 or
    7 years.

    Microsoft, if you're reading this post, it's time to apply some pressure onto EA to rectify this situation. They should not be able to have games on their own service, the are not available for purchase on your service. As far as I'm concerned, EA should
    be happy that EA Access was allowed to come onto Xbox One, not the other way around.

    Problem with DLC Genesis ?

    I was honestly not interested in ME3 though I played both ME and ME2. But, I heard about the genesis DLC and decided to purchase ME2 again (had it on the PC last time) and play it since I could make choices for ME. Unfortunately, it just sits at a black
    screen, and has done so four times. I'm just completely disgusted. I certainly don't think I'll be spending anymore money for ME3 if I can't even play ME2. My only saving grace is that I played as far as lazarus and saved my progress before downloading the
    DLC, but at this point I'm utterly turned off from the whole experience.

    When will we see ME2 on demand?

    Just got Mass Effect 1 from the recent game sale. Was hoping to get ME2 and eventually ME3 on demand but surprisingly, it is not there.

    DLC deal of the week... make it happen

    For what ME3 DLC? A year ago this past Christmas they had a deal on the ME2 Shadow Broker DLC. I snagged it for I think 300 Microsoft points. After the sale it went right back up to 800. It would suck to wait for something that may not happen.

    Wait - to help the original question let me get this straight.

    You HAVE ME2 but NOT ME1 and are looking to kill sometime over the next week while waiting for ME3?



    If that was the case, I'd say get the DLC for ME2 over getting ME1 since you've already made all your decisions to this point. For me, at least, the progression is that decisions I made in ME1 carry over to ME2, from there the decisions I make will carry over
    to ME3.

    Since you'd be getting ME1 after ME2 then the decisions you make in ME1 won't affect ME3 anyway. Yet, things you do in the DLC of ME2 still have a chance to impact ME3.

    Otherwise ME1, at this point, will only give you a richer understanding of the story leading up to the game you've already beaten.

    Not really. The only impact is that the DLC from 2 will be spoiled for you if you play ME3 having never played the ME2 DLC.
