MCC FATAL ERROR UE4 XBOX APP/GAMEPASS

So i've had MCC installed on my laptop since June of 2022. Been able to play it and other games with no issue, then last week, I tried to play MCC booted the game up, it went through the loading screen, and once it got to the black screen load screen it crashed saying FATAL ERROR UE4 the game will now close.

NOTHING on the internet to help with this issue, only on steam.

I uninstalled and re-installed, after re-installed it worked and I could play, so I closed the game and turned my computer off, hopped on 3 hours later to play with a buddy and got the same error

uninstalled and reinstalled again first boot up it played fine, we played for an hour, was able to close the game and boot it up again, worked fine played 3 hours, get off for the night, turn my laptop off. Today, booted it up, and tried to play with my buddy, same fatal crash error, same spot of the black loading screen.

HOW DO I FIX THIS!!!!

Had the same issue and tried the stops that Derika suggested and it didn't work. We have the same issue it sounds like. You can try to scan repair, terminate, reset the app, disk clean up both C drive and the drive it's installed on or you can go into management 3D setting in Nvidia control panel and turn off shader cache to give you hope. However, if you have luck like me it all won't work I am losing my mind trying to get this to work but nothing is working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

delete all the files in this location, you will need to see hidden folders

C:\Users\YourUserNameHere\AppData\LocalLow\MCC\Saved\webcache

If you get a fatal error on launch, this is a known issue and is caused by the login box, if this does happen start the mod version first and login and then close that one and start the normal version, only do this though if you get fatal error.
