MC Dungeons Unable to Verify Ownership Bug

When Minecraft Dungeons launched I bought it and I had the unable to verify ownership bug. Mojang normally corrected it I saw it there:https://twitter.com/MojangStatus/status/1265453866281287681 but
when I try to play the game I still have the unable to verify ownership. I tried to reinstall the game but it didn't do anything. I would like to know if there is a fix or if I'm wrong and that Mojang is still working on the bug. If not I'm gonna do with a
refund.

You have to bought it into your sons acc cuz it's exclude from the family group.

I.E. i've got it from Game Pass but for my son i had to bought it into his account cuz it appears the same error of ownership

Thanks for reaching out to us, I can provide some of the solutions that they have come up with the known bug that you are having.

Known Issue: Users seeing a "Do you own this game or app when launching a recently purchased game.

Workaround: To make sure you own the game and did not run in to any issues with your payment instrument at the time it was attempted to be charged, head on over to account.microsoft.com to
ensure the game is marked as "Completed" in your order history. If not, you will need to purchase the game again because the initial purchase did not go through.

My friend had the same problem i told him to clear his alternate mac address and it worked you can do the same in settings

Have you installed the correct version of it?

There are quite a lot of different versions of it, which could be confusing:

The Minecraft Dungeons launcher version: You need the minecraft dungeons launcher to play it. You can't use the other versions.
The Windows 10 / Microsoft Store version: You need to open the microsoft store app and download it from there. The other versions can't be used.
The Xbox One Version: Won't show the download button if you're on the computer, which can be confusing.

My son bought the game.

Via the microsoft family group he had to ask permission to me.

via the parent account the game was bought and payed.

downloaded and installed.

we start up via the microsoft store app

after "hit any key" we get the notice:

Game ownership not established. make sure you are signed in to the correct Xbox account and restart the game.

Do we need an Xbox account to play Minecraft Dungeons?

FYI: my son does not have a Xbox account.
