    MC Beta Insider Removal Under 18


    Hi guys, I was looking for some help with my niece. She was enrolled in beta for Minecraft through the insider hub and her dad has since placed age restrictions. It won’t allow her to opt out because as soon as she opens the hub it says she’s under 18. Any suggestions? We’ve tried uninstalling Insider Hub and Minecraft as well but it’s still in the beta.

    Why do you have to be 18 or older to be in the Xbox Insider program?

    No 13 is the minimun for signing any child account agreement with your parents permission NOT contracts

    You need to be 18 to sign anything without a parent

    Any beta you need to be 18 and above due to the fact you need to understand what you are doing and the risks involved (it's a beta )

    If a bug breaks your console your parents can sue ms since they didn't agree even if it's coveted under ms insiders warranty

    Insiders aren't meant to be public releases they are specific for testing certain features hence the beta and alpha status

    You have to be 18 or older to use xbox insider- if the age registered on the account is under 18, it isn't allowed access.

    you'll need to do it on the Xbox Insiders app on the console. go to the game > manage > un-enroll

    Also uninstall the version of Minecraft completely off the console.

    That does not work. He can't access Xbox Insider Hub because he's not 18. It says this when he tries to access it and doesn't allow him in.
