Max payne 2 on Xbox 360: Corrupted Download

I wanted to re-download Max payne 2 I bought a while back, but every time I try, the game downloads all the way, taking up space, but the xbox states it cannot download the game, and the download shows up as "Corrupted in the storage. I downloaded some other
games I got from the free with xbox live events a few years ago, and they downloaded just fine, which means this is not a problem from my end. Furthermore, googling brings up max payne 2 having launch issues for people when it first came to the xbox market
place, which baffles me why this is still the case, especially considering that I was able to download it, and play thru it a few times years ago.

I dunno what's wrong on your end, but please fix it. I cannot ask for a refund anymore, but there might be others who want to buy or download and play the game again

woohoo, it worked... just deleted my corrupt (unfinished) gamefile of Max Payne 2, then downloaded the game again and YES it works!

that was a week ago during the rockstar promotion. MAX PAYNE 1 & 2 was at half the price. Since impossible to download MAX PAYNE 2. MAX PAYNE 1 works perfect

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue. Sorry to hear that you're receiving that message about a corrupted download in storage. As our Ambassador previously recommended, clearing the cache from your storage device is helpful and worthwhile.
I also recommend trying these troubleshooting articles since you did receive that message:

If the problem persists, try logging into the Xbox website, search the game and click
on download to 360.

Try this out and let us know the results! Hope it helps.

Hi did you have the game saved to an external or something? You may have to remove it from that and redownload the entire game, Also you may have to clear uninstall the game then clear the cache, To clear the cache just follow the steps on this link - here
then try again.

I just tried to download it again and got this message: "Can't download Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne".

But maybe that means M$ took it offline to work on it... I hope.
