Matchmaking service alert, three days so far...

That would show weakness though. If Microsoft started announcing that they were being hacked people would lose faith in Microsoft's ability to protect their information.

 

I spent two hours talking to a support agent who was clearly clueless. How does one go about challenging the "service" that is being charged for, but not provided?

 

I AGREE, paying for service and can't even play suks ***.. thx Microsoft for your help,...

 

Nobody at XBOX reads these commentaries, it sucks.

 

xNightFeather: Except a DDOS is not a hack. No information is being accessed, or stolen. So no. Overloading one's servers is not the same as gaining access.

I'd make sure that your Xbox 360 has all of its ports forwarded, I suggest manually adding definitions into your router, and assigning a static IP to your Xbox 360. I had this issue as well. Making sure your Xbox 360 has priority on your router as well,
can help. (Via QOS or something similar, depending on your router).

Really, Microsoft shouldn't be blaming ISPs under most, if not all circumstances. It's 9/10 times your network hardware not liking what's going on, and instead of saying 'hey, we can't provide support because there's dozens of network manufacturers and hundreds
of possible configurations, it's your ISP's fault!'

 

Having this problem too.I think we can just wait for microsoft to fix it and go play some singleplayer

I'm am getting so done with Microsoft I can't play anything bc it keeps kicking me off and when I look it's matchmaking service alert....... Now for like three or four days. Well look out sony here I come

 

I agree i been having a hard time getting on gta v online nobody is in the lobby and when i try to play a game m9de it kicks me out of the online and i dont wanna hear theres something wrong with my isp come on Microsoft i been like this since Christmas
come on get ur *** together and fix this service alert

 

I've had this issue for three days now I can't play netflix or HBO, not even any online games. I've searched, tried every solution and nothing! Wtf is this bull??

 

ok guys i posted this on the 9th got a hold of someone b y tweeting them @xboxsupport , they finally responded and want more info so just an fyi maybe if we all tweet them then maybe they'll finally fix the issue... make sure and hash tag so all can see

I'm still having the same issue. I hope they fix this matchmaking service alert soon. I tried everything on my end. I even upgraded my Internet service and had their techs my service. I'm hardwired right off the switch and still no luck.

 

We've been having this issue for 5 days now. We have talked to both Microsoft and Activison. They tell us to port forward. I don't like the idea of opening my network up.

 

OK still not working... #Microsoft fix this please (matchmaking service alert), internet works fine its not out of range, brand new game Advance Warfare, come on guys pull yourselves together, im set to renew my Live account Feb 1, Is this is how you treat
customers, wow no updates no nothing come on there's plenty of people dealing with the same issues..

 

Same problem here to, sick and tired of it i paid $60 for a year of service that is not being provided. Was goin to up grade console to xbone but why would do that and go through this?

i will upgrade to a ps4 till microsoft can prove they can keep me connected to live on my 360s . Hmm the more i think about it i dont think i will ever upgrade to xbone after this headache
