Master chief collection from xbox one now needs gamepass in addition to previous owning?

When I purchased it years ago i did in fact purchase reach and ODST separately. It shows on my purchase history. Yet now it’s making me purchase them all over again and wanting me to buy this monthly game pass thing i do not want.

Kindly try to confirm first if the transaction for Master Chief collection can be found on your account by signing on account.microsoft.com > Payment and Billing > Order History.

If the transaction is there, proceed with the troubleshooting by removing your Microsoft account from your console > restart your console > re-add your Microsoft account > then check to see if it works here's how to remove your account:

1.Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

2.Select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.

3.Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm.

> Then restart your console and proceed with re-adding your account. You've got nothing to worry as this will not delete your saved data progress.

Then try to launch the game to see if it works.

I just want to clarify, does the same issue occurs after playing other games such as Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary or Halo 2: Anniversary?

For us to further isolate the case, were you able to see the game transaction under your account's Order History?

Reach and ODST were addons that were given free if previously owned or as purchasable addons, when you bought the game did you purchase them too.

Hi, the version of odst you purchased, was it the xbox one version for Halo the Master chief collection or the Xbox 360 version of the game? If it was the Master Chief collection version, then you need the master chief Collection installed on your Xbox
One to be able to download the game.
