Mass Effect on XBOX cloud version isn't compatible with the Game Pass version

I started a new game of Mass Effect Andromeda on the cloud playing on my iPad and when I tried to continue my game on my Series X it said I couldn't load my game because the game was missing the deluxe edition packs. I'm assuming now that cloud version is the Deluxe Edition and the EA play/Game Pass version is the Base game.

My question is there any way to fix this?

yeah this has only happened with me on andromeda. Ive played other games on cloud and switched back to console. this is the first game i've started on cloud and transitioned back to console though.

You had to install the game right?

If so then yes you installed the pc version

Xcloud does not install games as they are in cloud

So, this is odd, because they are the same version of the game, both games are in the gamepass library. :/

The only difference is that on your console you download it, and Xcloud you stream it from xbox servers.

This happened to you only with ME andromeda? Have you, by any chance, test another?

It's because it's not a playanywhere title

2 it's not the same version

He bought the ultimate edition via xcloud or just eaplay pc

But only the regular version is available on gamepass or ea play

@op you may have to access it from your ready to install the ultimate upgrades
