    Marvel heroes omega will not delete. It's been forever!


    I cant even remember when this game was removed from xbox live. I stopped playing it and knew it needed an update but stopped it. Sometime after everything happened with this game, it notifies me, upon startup, that it needs an update then that installation
    has stopped. I've tried deleting it from the game and apps menu and the drive manager as well. It looks like it deletes, then on the next startup the notifications return and its sitting back in my game and apps menu as a downloaded game. This game doesnt
    want to leave my xbox no matter what. Is there any way to remove it that I'm missing?

    Not related with Xbox, but I had Marvel Heroes installed on my Mac and I can't delete it either! it occupies a lot of space

    I completed the reset. Deleted it. Then restarted my xbox to see if it magically returns...the ghost of Marvel heroes lives on. It is still there...

    That game went down like a long time ago. A soft reset of the console should work as previously suggested.

    I've just never heard of something like that happening before. Has it been stuck on your console downloaded since the game was delisted? That's kind of weird if it has been.

    Thanks for reaching out here in Xbox Forums. I understand there is an issue with removing a game from the Xbox One even after deleting it from the games and apps. I recommend to try a doing a
    soft factory reset of the console,
    Reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

    Try this out first and let us know the results.
