Discus and support Mapping keyboard keys to A and B button does not work when connected to PC via bluetooth.... in XBoX Accessibility to solve the problem; A and B button are mapped to keyboard buttons but only worked with USB connection.     Mapping keyboard keys to A and B button does not work when connected to PC via bluetooth....


    A and B button are mapped to keyboard buttons but only worked with USB connection. On bluetooth they key presses are not sent. However it is connected and the Xbox button on the controller does work in bluetooth mode

    Found the answer. I'll post it here in case someone comes along:

    Playing a Game with Keyboard Button Mapping

    1. Start playing a game on the same Xbox or PC you configured your controller with or take it to a different Xbox or PC and select a game to play.
      • Note: If you’re playing on an Xbox console, try to select a game that supports keyboard input. And remember, on PC, you’ll need to connect your controller via USB or use an Xbox Wireless Adapter.

    I know, but you said the configuration is messy when connecting via Bluetooth right, buttons are not working just fine, when you connect it and map your controller's buttons via wire, and then change to Bluetooth, it doesn't change nothing?

    Perhaps is just a glitch on the firmware update of the controller. :(

    Yes, I'm trying to connect my controller via Bluetooth on my Windows 10 PC (It worked before yesterday). When I connect my controller via USB Cable it works fine.

    The XBox Button flashing slowly when it's turn on. When I press the sync button to connect via Bluetooth, the XBox Button flashes for 1 second and the controller turn off.

    How to map screen record/screenshot to Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller on PC?

    Being on PC, I have this issue as well. There is no way to map "take a screen shot" or "Start/stop Recording" to the Elite controller through the Xbox Game Bar, or Accessories App....the button mapping works fine on the accessories app, but the Game Bar application does not recognize the button inputs from the controller when attempting to assign a short cut. Short cuts must be assigned via Key Board currently, and the short cuts do not translate over IE: 'Shift - A' on the key board is not the equivalent of 'Shift-A' on the controller. To use the screenshot or recording feature on PC, I currently have quickly hit the short cut on the keyboard, then get back to the controller...very inefficient.
