Maneater Game Stuttering on Xbox Series X

Hi, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

I have checked and there is no reported issue for the said concern with the game which means that we just need to perform troubleshooting steps.

To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

I understand you're having performance issues with Maneater for Xbox Series X? If you're only having performance issues when you have RayTracing enabled then I suggest keeping it disabled until the developer addresses the issue.

If the game has been working properly before this problem started, then it’s probably just due to a minor technical issue with the game. So the first thing you need to do is to stop it and then open it again.

After doing the first solution, if Maneater continues to have performance issues, then what you should do next is refresh the memory of your console. The problem can be due to a glitch in the system. It’s something that can be fixed by doing a quick reboot.

A game that continues to remain unstable could also be due to a server issue. So what you have to do next is to check if there are currently issues with Xbox Live. You can do so by going here: Xbox Status | Xbox Support.

You know what i was actually thinking that too, because i searched it up and found out that the raytracing applied to the surface of the water. And then when i look up, the console probably has to start ray tracing a lot at the same time which causes the stuttering/lowfps.
