Manditory Update Notification Suggestion

If you have "Suggested" on that list and it's enabled, I'm pretty certain it will be that as I had the exact same issue on Tuesday right after installing the latest "Patch Tuesday" update for Windows. After installing the update and rebooting, the ads started. Since disabling notifications for "Suggested" (which didn't even exist on that list before Tuesday's update) I haven't had a single ad notification show up at all.

You can also favorite any friends you want to know about, and then snap the activity app. This will tell you when they log on.

The status to busy and away, you will need to post that in the suggestion forums, this is a support forum.

Go to Settings - System - Notifications & actions, find "Suggested" on the list and toggle notifications for it off.

MS have added this new sender to Windows via a recent update, and all it does is spam you with adverts via the notification system, even if you have "Get tips, tricks and suggestions as you use Windows" disabled. At least it's easy to disable I suppose, but it's kinda gross that they would add it in the first place.
