Manage files downloaded via Edge

thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately none of mentioned solutions work.

Believe me, i tried any single file manager app in the store: none of them can access local storage. I tried any media player (other outdated solutions in the community reported vlc or other media apps to work). I tried via edge settings (as you suggest).

I can see files and folders (with more then one method) but can't perform any action on them.

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are inquiring about a way to delete some files that you installed on your console through the Microsoft Edge browser provided on the console.

There are other types of file managers that you can use download on your console from the
Store. Of course, one that might best fit your needs, is not something I would be able to recommend to you.

Alternatively , you can attempt to mange these files from inside the Microsoft Edge browser, and select Settings from the top right-hand side and scroll down to the section that allows you to change where you save your files to.

I hope this is of some use to you.

It is.....in prevois edge i used to click media fire links or something to download and it downloads!!and i can open that file in file manager on xbox.....now on new edge nothing shows up that its download ed or not.

I can't say that I've downloaded items on console via Edge, but can you do so if you go to My Games & Apps > Apps > Edge and then press the Menu button and select Manage. See if there are files listed there that can be manipulated? Or go to Settings
> General (Or is it under System in the new layout?) > Storage and select the option to free up space, and see if that will clear out those "loose" items?

I sometimes use Microsoft edge, and figured out that it has a windows like file manager
