Manage Child account without Owning a Xbox

Just know that by using your own emails to create accounts for children, their Xbox accounts will forever be tied to your emails. All of their game saves, acheivement score, and purchases will need your emails to be accessed. It is always better to create new emails for child accounts so that when they get older, they can manage their own accounts without needing to use someone else's email.

The best way I found to manage my sons account was to create my own account, and then add my son as a child to the FAMILY.

That meant that all the privacy and security settings are done through MY account using the FAMILY options.

A much easier and better way to manage your kids, without having to sign into their account.

The link I send you shows how you can share the gold membership and the games but seems you have yet to set up your nephew's account as well. First you should set up your nephew's account as a child's account and set yours as the parent account. That way
he will be able to play minor's games in his own account without being able to purchase. For more info:

You cannot change your own age from your account, if you have a child account changes can be made only by the account that manages it.

To protect your privacy please don't post pictures with your full name on it.

I would suggest not adding the main account as a child under another account you made, as the main account is the one that said had had the restriction so adding it as a child account will only make it so that the adult account can only change the privacy
settings for your main account.

If your main account is an adult account based on age, then you should be able to change your own settings without needed to create another account to manage the main accounts settings.

That is only required for child accounts.

If you can, remove your account from the family settings and go to Xbox.com and manage your privacy settings for the main account.
