Manadatory FS update not working

Re-installing worked and it now appears under 'Installed' in the MS Store and is at version 1.18.15.0

Normally updates are applied and downloaded automatically if this has not happened, please do the following.

Go to the Microsoft Store, at the top you will see your avatar and also an arrow pointing down, click there and get the latest updates for your app or game. If you have nothing click on GET UPDATES, the page will refresh and show the latest updates for you.

Sometimes some updates are not applied automatically, so in your case you will need to try and update the game manually. In order to do that you will need to go the Microsoft store and access your updates from the top right corner. Select the option to update all, if you are not able to find the update on the first try, wait until all the apps get updated and refresh "get updates" again.

Ouch! That's a heavy duty solution. I was hoping for something less onerous but will do as you suggest when I can find the time.
