    "Make this my home xbox" Couldn't save your changes


    The problem I face on Xbox is that when I try to set my account to my Home Xbox, despite having a few extra switches left. I'm confronted with this-

    "Could not save your changes; Something went wrong when we tried to save your changes. Please make your changes again."

    This occurs every time mind you that I try to again set it to my Home Xbox. Could you deal with this problem?

    Hey there Josh T 42.

    Have you recently changed your Xbox One Home console? If so, how many times have you changed it within the last year? Keep in mind only 5 Xbox One home consoles can be chosen within a rowling year.

    Have you been switching your home xbox a few times already?

    There is a limit of 3 times in a year (from first switch)

    Only phone support can offer a reset of the Home option. If you've already gone that route and it is not working then give them a try again. Click this link to get the number for your region Customer Support

    I believe that there is currently a known issue about My Home Xbox settings.

    You can try to restore your console back to factory defaults (Keep My Games and Apps) as a workaround. It worked for some.
