    Hey microsoft community, i have an issue with your "all online features requires gold" policy. Games like brawlhalla and fortnite, which are free shouldnt require xbox live gold for them to work. And downloading dlc shouldnt require you to get live. I
    think just like ps4, the devs control if they want a live requirement.

    How on earth are you supposed to download DLC without live?

    You need Live to do anything online just like you need PSN to do anything online on ps4.

    And if you dont want to pay for gold join microsoft rewards, do all your web searches with Bing and then get gold for free
    You can play Fortnite on PS4 without paying for their live service.

    Hi. No, every platform have own rules. Xbox rule and feature is Xbox LIVE GOLD. And without Xbox LIVE Gold you can't play multiplayer games. That's all. Although Xbox LIVE Gold is not an obligation to buy. This is completely voluntary. But without Gold
    you don't have several features unlocked.

    I have never had a problem with it. I will pay for a service I use. Plus the stuff that comes along with it is always a bonus.
