Make account Name changing free pls!!!!!!!

The free gamertag change was added recently. When you make a new account, it's given a random name and you have the option to change it within 30 days. Accounts made before this new policy will not be given a free name change.

Yes you do, you only get one free name change. You could make another xbox account and get a free name change on that account, however you will lose all of your progress as you will be playing on a different account.

Then what are you talking about? The only time you will ever be given a free name change is when you create a new account. There are no other times you will be given a free name change.

If you're talking about getting a free name change after losing another name to a forced name change, that doesn't happen any more. Once the offensive name is removed from your profile, it's automatically changed to a default
name, which you have to pay to change.

yeah its pretty crappy that xbox charges 800 points for a name change. Ive had xbox live for 8 straight years and that doesn't merit a free name change? seriously??? it makes it even worse that you buy the service in 1 year increments, so you would think
that would equal 1 free name change a year.

by charging people for a name change they are actually giving customers an incentive NOT to renew their account!! that way they can get a new name by simply making a new account.

You'd need to change the names of both accounts to free up the name you want then change the name of the account you're posting with to the name you want. You can't delete accounts to free up names either.
