Major Software/Update Problem? Kinect Has Stopped Understanding 90% of My Voice Commands, ...

Really hope to get an answer from someone at Xbox about this as I made a Reddit post at it seems I'm not alone. VERY recently (a few weeks ago) I noticed my Kinect (which has always worked great) started just plain not hearing/understanding my voice commands
(even standing one foot in front of the sensor in a quiet room). I've done all the basic unplug/plug in, recalibrate many times, move, etc and nothing fixes the issue. Help!

I am a member of the preview program, is this a known issue? What the heck is going on? One of my favorite parts of the Xbox One is completely useless at the moment.

Kinect issue, but kinect not the problem

I have 3 xbox ones, each with kinect. One of my consoles stopped accepting voice commands from its kinect. I switched the kinect with another console. The kinect is fine on another console.

I have recalibrated the kinect on the console that wouldn't work. It calibrated perfectly. Console still won't take voice commands.

I disconnected everything and reconnected it. Console still won't take commands from the kinect.

The console does show the camera, but it does not hear any of my voice commands. Again, the kinect works perfectly on another console.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Having Multiple problems with xbox one

I am also missing my gamer pic. Not had it in about a week. Also my kinect microphone has stopped taking voice commands and the blu ray player wont work properly. All recent problems

it could be a fault somewhere in the xbox/adapter/Kinect have you tried to narrow it down at all like trying a friends Kinect with your xbox or trying your Kinect with a friends xbox. this would narrow its down a little. I would also suggest trying it with
another account as this could(unlikely) be an account issue. if you do not have another account simply create a free one using an outlook email and try it on the brand new account.

The exact reason we need Kinect for voice commands is that the game is using Kinect's voice recognition software.

I have the same problem with my Kinect. After the update it stopped working (message that kinect is not plugged in). I agree it has to be a software issue.

I have a friend who used the voice command system before and he found it to be more or less 50% responsive. The issue of the Kinect not understanding your commands is more of a hardware problem of the Kinect 1.0 because the Kinect 2.0 is confirmed to be
more accurate in understanding voice commands. As for your search for ME3 voice commands, I wish you the best of luck in acquiring that information
