Mafia II Free Gold Game

I'm Trying to download Mafia II and it's free for gold , and i'm gold and it's not letting me download it

i get the error Sorry something went wrong/ this isn't available for your region, or the file is corrupted, or we don't recognize the format/ status code 80150017

my region is UK I don't think that UK is not available region

Help Please!

Games for gold wont download

Ok, now is in the "games with gold" new game - Mafia II. Till now, i downloaded this games for gold without any problems, but now, this game is not free for my region (Czech republic - -in Europe). My question is, why i pay for gold account, if i dont get
the games?? (sory for my english)

Mafia II was actually pretty good. The only thing that gets annoying after a while is having to drive everywhere. There is no fast or anything like that, but it's still an excellent game imo.

 

Do you actually live in the uk?.

You need to match your physical region with your account region unless you dont live in xbox live region then you wont be able to get it or any other region locked content

 

Is it just with certain games or with all game cuz when bioshock and GOW was free it download and i could play but mafia II i can't

 

Some games are region locked and some aren't. So if your regions don't match, you will have issues downloading certain content.

 

It's not related to billing region/IP. I have polish IP and billing region, still, the game is not available. They must have messed up with something. The same issue occurred with Hitman Absolution, but they fixed it in a few days. This one hasn't been fixed
yet....8th day now...

And the op said he had a mismatched region

 

It's not written that it was a mismatch. Taking it for granted, your info is misleading since you cannot get that the Mafia 2 region lock is not related to the IP/billing info, for most of us having this issue, if not all. I have the same IP/billing info....a
complete match....yet the game won't be purchased.

I write facts, not some theories about region locks...if it's a mismatch the false goes to them not to me.

 

Since in the other thread you mention using the website are you queuing the uk or polish content you have to change your marketplace you cant queue other regions region locked content

 

And if you migrated after the first fail you actually got to delete the old download and queue from the website the polish content After you confirm that the migration completed it can takr upto 90 days

 

I'm having the same problem with mafia 2 ...its more than likely micro screw-up! Thinking maybe I should not renew my gold?!!

 

Does your account tlregion reflect your actual region?

If not that would be why

Your account region must eeflect your actual region for the best exp with xbox live thats not a annserver error

Thats a completely different error

Consoles not account region

Some games are specifically for certain regions

In this case ntsc or pal

Now usually you dont buy an out of region console and bring it over

For the best exp with xbox live your account region

Actual region and console region must match for that game that is what the error is telling you

The 3rd doesnt allways apply

But since its region lockes also you cant get ntsc content anyways because your physical region but since you also have a ntsc you cant get it either

You wouls also have issues with non region free disks
