    Just start playing Mafia 3, I’ve been playing it like 2 hours without problems until this cinematic starts to loop over and over again.

    I’m playing it on Series X

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

    I have here steps that we can try, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    ​​​

    "1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​"

    If that didn't work we may need to uninstall and reinstall the game.

    Why doesn't anything work?

    Game starts fine. I can watch the cinematics. When I push play, endless loop of attempting to connect. Everyone I know is having the same issue.

    Deleted and reloaded everything, and it is still just showing me about 5 seconds of the opening cinematic then going into an endless loop of saving and reloading. WTF, what a buggy P.O.S.

    Anytime this question comes up, I got to go with Mafia 1. Such a classic game for that time and I spent too much time with replays. We got Mafia 2 and Mafia 3 so maybe in the future we could get Mafia 1?
