    Made my daughter a family account on PS4 Minecraft now she is assigned a name already and...


    I have her set up under me i set up the account

    after set up it says her minecraft name is “ summer toast####” where the heck did this even come from? Never even let me try to make a name.

    also she tried to play minecraft after signing in and it said she was unable to play with her friend who is also on ps4 due to restriction

    i have looked everywhere trying to figure out how to change it and i cant fond it

    i put this in xbox because i dont see a category for microsoft accounts

    Dasuperpope, how did you fare? This is a fatal mistake. You do the right thing as a parent and theres ni way to back out. I have reinstalled minecraft twice with much disappointment from my child as they lose local worlds. Nuts.

    You will need to look at the restrictions on her account as Child accounts have increased safety settings and usually prevents them from playing with others.

    Back on the 360 I had to have my account changed to an adult account when I turned 18 to play online.
