Made a podcast of me playing forza, discussing my experience with the Series X so far, hope...

Sorry dude, but this is fear-mongering. It's only for a year or two.

Not trying to fear-monger at all here. Just having a discussion and seeing what others are saying / thinking about this decision.

And I understand it's only for a year or two. Games will eventually be built from the ground up with the Series X in mind with no concern of how it will run on the Xbox One family of devices.

Again, like it's already been discussed, games like Forza Horizon 2, Titanfall, and Shadow of Mordor had different versions that were available on the 360 and Xbox One; however, they were developed by separate studios and had noticeable differences and not
just in terms of graphics / performance.

Example, the 360 version of Shadow of Mordor didn't have the nemesis system.

Going from the One to the Series X, it will be handed different this time around. To my understanding, there will only be one version of the game that will just run across each console. Will it be as simple as dropping the resolution and frame rate? or will
compromises have to be made somewhere?

Some are under the impression they will basically build for the base Xbox One in mind, so the Series X just be the best looking and performing version of the game. Others think the games will be developed for the Series X, and then they will drop the resolution,
frame rate, and disable certain gameplay elements / features in order to make it playable on the base Xbox One.

I am having same issue. Xbox series x, no vibration with any driving game I have tried so far. Forza 6, Forza Horizon 5, Dirt 4

"Far Cry 3" is probably the best game released this year so get that.



And "Forza Horizon" is Forza... made fun again.



So there you go.

The rumors for Halo 5 make it sound pretty promising. I'll pick up an X1 then. In the meantime I'm glad there are people willing to beta test it.

Sadly none of the Forza Motorsport games made for the Xbox 360 are compatible with the Xbox One or Series X. Only the first Forza Horizon works.
