Madden ultimate and gold promo FAIL

here I was on my Xbox yesterday playing madden 18. Was about to log out and it popped up an offer. Renew your gold memeber ship now and get a “madden ultimate team a $15 dollar value” clicked on and renewed immediately. Got my renewal email! Then shrieked
and went to get my pack. No pack. Figured I’d wait 24 hours. Contacted support. Was with them for 40 minutes. After tons of research. I was told I needed to come post in a random forum to get help.

Deals With Gold broken

Madden 17 is marked in the 'Deals With Gold' promo as being -35%, but when clicked either through Xbox One or my phone via online store, it's at full price.

Tuesday/Wednesday when I first seen the promo, it was properly discounted and for some reason isn't any longer.

When you purchased the promo the gold you had on your account was converted to the Ultimate Game Pass. Per the terms of that offer, that could not be undone. Since you cancelled the subscription, you will have to purchase a new one. If the same promo is
not available, you would either need to purchase it at full price or find a deal for gold elsewhere.

Is there a way to find out if I’ll qualify before adding live gold to my account? If I don’t qualify does anyone know the cost of upgrading to ultimate if I pay for gold and a promo isn’t available?
