Madden 16 not installing correctly on Series X?

I've tried searching for this everywhere and the only thing I get is a summed up Google AI reply that doesn't even make sense. I bought Madden 16 (physical copy) about 2 weeks ago or so from Amazon. I recieved the game and the disc looks completely fine besides a few minor scratches that doesn't impact how the game should install. I've tried installing it maybe 8 times or so since I got ot and it always gets stuck around 55% or so. I've tried everything. Restarting the console, turning it offline to try and install, disabling it from installing any updates until the main game is installed, and factory resetting it. Nothing works and it still gets stuck at the same spot almost every time. I've read online that the game will still play and is compatible with Series X as it's an Xbox One game. Is there any advice or troubleshooting tips that I haven't tried yet to fix this?

Discs typically go bad on a microscopic level, and a 10 year old used copy certainly may have failed in that time

There isn't anything bad/wrong with it. I feel like since the disc itself is only used to tell the console you have the license to play the game, it wouldn't stop installing the way it does without there being a problem such as the file being corrupted around that far into a download. I'm not sure how to check to see if the file is corrupted or if it's not able to be played because of how old the game is even though places such as Google and EA say they'll still work with a physical copy.
